Repetition, trauma, and despair are reflected in the haunting refrain from Macbeth.
Inspired by Shakespearean themes in Macbeth, Hamlet, Taming of The Shrew and other plays, the script uses the Bard’s timeless words to give poetic expression to a contemporary issue: domestic abuse. The cyclical nature of violence “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” echoes the repetitive trauma endured by many victims. The film explores complex questions around vengeance, justice, and whether, in seeking retribution, the avenger becomes a villain.

Our aim is turn this shakespearean script about domestic abuse into a short film, but it will require funding and a lot of inspirational and talented people to bring this independent film to life.
